We released Visual Studio 2010 in April, which comes packed with great ways to access and expose your data, including the Entity Framework for modeling and accessing your data and exposing it via the REST Open Data Protocol (OData), which is supported by Excel, PowerPivot, .NET, PHP and JScript on the client-side as well as SharePoint, IBM’s Web Sphere, SQL Azure and .NET on the server side, with a large and growing number of providers. We’ve also added to the “Data Dude” features of Visual Studio, integrating SQL and SQL-based projects deeply into the tools. In this talk, you’ll see how to use the new features of EF 4.0 and database projects and to take advantage of the OData protocol. Don’t delay. Sign up today!
