Azure was built to be the best cloud in the industry for .NET. With recent investments made to make .NET more open and portable so it could run anywhere with Linux and Docker support, .NET Core is better than ever for building cloud-native apps. This session will start by exploring the various options Azure App Service provides ASP.NET Core developers. Then, we'll go beyond ASP.NET to look at how you can use .NET Core all-up with Azure services like Service Bus and Event Grid to connect front-end App Services and Functions to back-end microservices hosted in Kubernetes, where .NET Core background workers can perform any variety of business logic or data manipulation. This broad session will show you what's possible when you couple the power of .NET with the flexibility of Azure.
