Attend this 2-Day hands-on seminar to learn about the major functions and benefits of data-related service offerings in Azure, including relational databases, non-relational databases, data pipeline and integration services, data warehouse platforms, data security and monitoring, data storage options, introductory machine learning services, and analytics services.

We will be discussing the resources available to help do cost estimates for each of these services, plus the general overview of how data volume, workloads, performance needs, and storage impacts costs, and the benefit of each.

Learn how each of these Azure services can work together to provide an end-to-end solution to meet a source data, enhancement, and results data story.

You will learn:

• How these azure data services can work together

Attendee Workstation Requirements:
You must provide your own computer (Windows or Mac) for this hands-on lab workshop with a camera, wired Internet connection, speakers, and a microphone.

All hands-on exercises will be completed either via a browser or via remote desktop access to an Azure VM. Laptops should have an RDP client installed and have sufficient permission to access remote services via the RDP client. A test VM will be provided one week prior to the class to test RDP permissions and functionality. Laptops must also have permissions to access Azure resources. Issues with access typically only happen due to VPN usage requirements, so it’s important that attendees test their access in the week prior to the event.

Attendees will be provide credentials for accessing all resources; no separate Azure subscriptions will be required.
