Join us on the lawn to enjoy panoramic views of the San Diego Bay and celebrate being in sunny Southern California and the start of Visual Studio Live! Attend the welcome reception held on the Sheraton Eventide Gardens to enjoy sunshine, drinks, snacks, games, and music while you relax, unwind, and network with fellow attendees, exhibitors, and speakers after a long day of learning.

Take advantage of the famous San Diego weather to play lawn games like Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Ladder Toss and Corn Hole with new friends. Take in views of the bay and the enjoy the beach vibes with our musical entertainment.

Join other attendees at lunch to share ideas, talk about the issues of the day, and maybe solve a few. While you enjoy lunch, you can find and connect with other like-minded people at tables designated for certain languages, technologies, and interests.

We will also have designated speaker tables - noted with the speakers’ name. Join your favorite speaker for a lunchtime discussion or to follow up on any questions from a session.

Relax while you enjoy a fully-narrated tour of the sights of San Diego by water, view the Coronado Bridge, take a look at the US Naval fleet, hopefully spot the harbor’s resident sea lions, and enjoy it all as the sun sets over the water.
