Paradigms from the early days of computing, such as massive requirements before writing the first line of code, having detailed Gantt charts predicting what would be done on specific days - months in the future, no longer apply.

Modern Agile and Scrum approaches focus on minimalism as a common basis. But is it really the optimal, or can teams improve by investing a bit more in key areas?

During this session, we will examine experiences from a number of teams (across different vertical markets) and see what items they found valuable, and what considerations are important in evaluating your own team's set of optimal practices.

You will learn:

  • Effectively capturing, maintaining and analyzing information that will improve successful software delivery and maintenance
  • The advantages of continuous, but small, changes in achieve the optimal approach for a given team
