Who can attend?
The conference is open to the public.
What meals are included with registration?
For all paid Visual Studio Live! attendees, morning coffee/pastries and lunch are provided on all days that you attend sessions, workshops, hands-on labs at the conference.
Will I be able to request special meals (i.e. kosher, vegetarian, gluten free)?
Yes, you will be prompted for special meal requirements during the registration process. All special meal requests must be submitted at least 7 days prior to the conference start date.
How can I request assistance with special needs (i.e. hearing impaired)?
You will be prompted to tell us about your special needs during registration and we will make every effort to accommodate your request.

Can I bring a guest or companion to conference sessions and meals?
Only paid attendees are allowed in conference sessions and meals. Thank you for your understanding.

The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is just over 3 miles from McCarran International Airport.

Is Parking available at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino?
For your convenience, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino offers valet and self-parking in their Main Parking Garage.
Self-parking at Planet Hollywood Resort:
- 0 to 60 minutes: Free
- 1 to 4 Hours: $12
- 4 to 24 Hours: $15
- Over 24 Hours: $15 per day
Self-parking is free for anyone who has a Total Rewards card at the Platinum, Diamond, or Seven Stars level.
Valet parking at Planet Hollywood Resort:
- Up to 2 Hours: $24 weekdays / $26 weekends
- 2 to 4 Hours: $28 weekdays / $30 weekends
- 4 to 24 Hours: $32 weekdays / $36 weekends
- Special Event Pricing: $36 weekdays / $36 weekends
As with self-parking, valet parking is free for anyone at the Platinum, Diamond, or Seven Stars status on their Total Rewards players card.

Will there be opportunities for small group discussions?
We have scheduled an evening event and other networking opportunities allowing you to learn and share in smaller group settings. We also encourage attendees to network during meals and breaks.

Registration
Do you accept Purchase Orders?
If you would like to use a Purchase Order you may do so when registering online. If you have any questions about using a purchase order, please contact our registration department at [email protected] or 949.296.9840. All payment must be received on or before February 25, 2022 or the registration will be canceled.
Where may I obtain your federal tax ID information for my accounting department?
Please contact ur Conference Registrar at [email protected] and they will fax or mail a completed W9 form to you. Visual Studio Live!'s Federal Tax I.D. Number is 20-4583700.
Where can I request a receipt?
You received a link to your receipt in your confirmation email. You may access your registration at any time with the email address you registered with and your reference number, found in your confirmation email. Click here to log back into your registration.

How may I make changes to my registration?
You may request changes to your registration by writing [email protected] or by calling 949.296.9840.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
All requests for cancellation must be sent in writing to the registration office at [email protected]. Requests must be received by the cancellation deadline of February 11, 2022 to qualify for a refund. A cancellation-processing fee of $250 will be charged for each cancellation request. No refunds will be given after February 11, 2022.
If I cancel my conference registration will my hotel room cancelled as well?
No, these are handled separately. Please contact your hotel directly to cancel your room reservation.
If you have added the Hotel Package to your Visual Studio Live! Conference Package when you registered and need to cancel your conference registration, Visual Studio Live! will also cancel your hotel reservation at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. If you cancel after the cancellation deadline of February 4, 2022, certain hotel cancellation fees may apply.
May I send someone in my place if I cannot attend?
Yes, you may transfer your registration to another person at any time prior to the start of the conference, February 27, 2022. Requests must be made in writing and may be emailed to [email protected], by calling 949.296.9840, or bring the request with you onsite.
Will I receive confirmation of my registration?
Yes, if you include your email address during the registration process, you will receive an email acknowledgement of your registration being received in the conference database.
Do you offer any student discounts?
We offer full-time college students from accredited universities a discount off of the full priced conference registration fees. To qualify for this discount, please contact our Conference Registrar at [email protected] or by calling 949.296.9840 and be prepared to provide a copy of your student identification card.
Do you offer government / non-profit discounts?
We offer Employees of a national, federal, state, or local government entity or a nonprofit with 501(c) status discounts on all packages. To qualify for this discount, please contact the registration office at [email protected] or 949.296.9840.
COVID Health and Safety Protocols
Will there be COVID safety protocols for attendees, speakers and staff at the conference?
Yes, Visual Studio Live! is working closely with Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino to provide a safe and healthy experience for all. Enhanced measures are being implemented in accordance with state and local regulations and following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Due to Visual Studio Live! Conference’s partially vaccinated customer base, the conference will enforce multi-layered interventions to reduce transmission of COVID-19 and help protect all attendees, speakers, vendors, and staff.
Everyone attending the event must agree to the VSLive! Las Vegas COVID-19 Health Protocols during the registration process. All event attendees, speakers, vendors, and staff will also sign a waiver during the COVID Antigen Rapid Nasal testing process and provide a cell phone number for test results and contact tracing.
All attendees, speakers, vendors, and staff must:
- Wear masks in public indoor settings to attend the event
- Have negative COVID Antigen Rapid Mid-Nasal test on the first day of event (will be administered onsite by Healthcare Solution Center)
- Choose between two onsite COVID Protocols:
Option 1: Voluntarily provide proof of vaccination
- Attendees may provide proof of full vaccination prior to the start of the event or by showing their vaccination card to staff at the onsite testing site.
- If proof of vaccination is provided, attendees will receive a colored wristband after their negative rapid COVID-19 test and be exempt from daily temperature checks and health attestation for the remainder of the week.
Option 2: Pass daily COVID screening protocols
- Attendees who choose not to share proof of vaccination must clear daily temperature checks and submit daily health attestations after the initial negative rapid COVID-19 test on the first day of the conference to receive a daily color-coded wristband giving them access to the conference area and session rooms.
- For daily temperature screening and health attestation and to receive your daily color-coded wristband (after your initial negative rapid COVID-19 test), please visit the Daily Wristband Station (before entering the conference area).

Technical
Will there be a computer with Internet access and printer at the conference?
Yes, a Print Station is available onsite for all attendees and complimentary Wi-Fi is available on the conference floor.
Where do I get the notes for each conference session?
All conference attendees will receive access to Visual Studio Live! Las Vegas session proceedings in advance of the event.
