Silverlight allows building powerful cross-platform applications that can be distributed via a browser. Of course there must be some security controls in place. This talk discusses how the Silverlight security system works and gives some general guidance for writing “secure” applications. This includes areas like resource access, networking, digital signatures, (elevated) out-of-browser applications and authentication.
