Thank you for registering for Visual Studio Live! Las Vegas. We're excited for you to join us April 18-22 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. With the event fast approaching, here’s all you need to know to ensure you have a great experience during your time in Las Vegas. If you have any questions during the week, our onsite conference staff will be happy to assist you.

The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino will host all Visual Studio Live Las Vegas sessions and activities.

Your conference materials will not be mailed to you. Instead, please pick them up at the registration desk located in the Rio Conference Center Rotunda. To ensure a smooth check-in process, please bring your confirmation email (listing your name, payment details and registration package) with you to Visual Studio Live.

If you are not attending a pre-conference workshop on Monday, please plan to arrive at the conference center starting at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday to check-in prior to the Keynote presentation at 8:00 a.m.

Geek out at I-Bar
Tuesday, April 19, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
Join some of your favorite speakers including Billy Hollis, Robert Green, Torsten Grabs, Philip Japikse, Rockford Lhotka, Joe Marini, Miguel Castro and more for an evening of contacts, cocktails and conversation. This stimulating event will provide an opportunity to interact, exchange ideas and socialize in a casual atmosphere while enjoying the creations of I-Bar’s talented mixologists. This is a “no-host” event but you will receive a 2 for 1 drink voucher as you arrive at I-Bar.
Birds-of-a-Feather Luncheon

Back by popular demand, this awesome opportunity is available to all Visual Studio Live attendees. Choose a topic, sit down and brainstorm with fellow attendees and speakers working on similar projects.

Join us for a Vegas style night of entertainment featuring cocktails, snacks and awesome raffle prizes! Enjoy a cocktail while networking with your fellow attendees and speakers. Come on down and play along with Visual Studio Live!’s Devopalooza. Teams of contestants will compete in a Technololgy Quiz Show…will you be a winner or the weakest link? Show off your skillz in a team of attendees and speakers while competing head to head. Think you can knock off the masters…they dare you to try! Fabulous prizes include a Droid tablet, $100 Visa Gift Card, $100 Best Buy Gift Card and more.
Cyber Café & Power Station
Don't miss out on anything back at the office. In addition to the wireless network available throughout the conference area, a Cyber Café and Laptop Power Station will be located in the Rotunda and will be open during conference hours.
Conference Meals & Dress
Breakfast, lunch, snacks, and beverages are provided to all attendees throughout the conference. Breakfast and lunch will be served in Rio Pavilion 5-7. Beverages and snacks will be served daily in the Rotunda outside of the conference session rooms.
A variety of food and beverage choices will also be available at the Wild Wednesday with Devopalooza event sponsored by Syncfusion.
Conference alumni know to dress casually for Visual Studio Live Conferences. We want you to be comfortable while sitting in the sessions.
NOTE: the temperature in the classrooms may vary, so be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket. We recommend wearing layers.
