Level: Introductory
Cordova is a great way to write hybrid apps that span multiple platforms using HTML5/CSS and JavaScript. Now, with Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova, Microsoft has provided us an integrated solution for Cordova in Visual Studio. This session will explore how to create an application using Visual Studio Tools for Apache Cordova in VS 2015 and Intel's App Framework to make hybrid mobile applications with a native looking UI. It will also explore how to deploy applications to devices, including using a Mac build server for iOS. After this session, and with a bit of HTML5/CSS and JavaScript knowledge, you should be well on your way to learning how to write Cordova applications in Visual Studio.
