This session will introduce the key concepts behind a Windows 8 Metro style App, including Windows RunTime, language projections and WinRT Type System.
After a review of key concepts, we will walk-through two examples. The first example will illustrate how .NET languages can be used to build Windows Metro Style Apps. The second example will illustrate how a JavaScript application can be combine the benefits of the web platform with the capabilities of Windows 8.
