In this session, I'll introduce you to the platform and by providing frames of references with web forms and hopefully providing you with the pluses and minuses of both platforms.

As a web forms developer, it took me a while to eventually get to MVC but the truth is that I really do like it. No I do not think it is the end-all to web development and I still have a lot of love for web forms, but the more I use ASP.NET MVC the more I do get used to it and the more I appreciate everything it offers. We'll cover everything from basic rendering to dependency injection to security so prepare for a full brain overload.
You will learn:
- Intro to MVC
- Comparisons of its components to WebForm components
- Advantages and disadvantages of both
