As Big Data starts to move beyond the hype cycle, Hadoop is reaching critical mass as a true Enterprise computing tool. Microsoft's flavor of Hadoop, Azure HDInsight, has matured a great deal as well. It's now available in Linux versions, as well as its original Windows distribution. It has also added support for Apache Spark, which changes the game significantly.
