Level: Introductory
Modern apps center around devices and the cloud. They often run on non-Microsoft devices such as the iPad, Android tablets, or in browsers via HTML5 and even on custom frameworks. If you are a Microsoft developer you might have little or no exposure to software development on these platforms. This workshop will provide you with a crash course on some of the technologies that are used in Modern Apps Live. These include iOS (iPad, iPhone), Xamarin Android, HTML5/JavaScript development and the CSLA framework. You'll leave understanding the development options and core techniques for each so you'll be ready to build compelling modern apps.
