Microsoft has recently released SharePoint 2010 which is the fourth generation of SharePoint Technologies. The sessions in this track have been designed to teach you what is new with SharePoint Foundation and SharePoint Server 2010. You will learn how to use the new SharePoint Tools that are shipped as part of Visual Studio 2010 and understand why this toolset finally gives SharePoint developers the same levels of power and productivity that .NET developers have experienced for years when developing for .NET and ASP.NET. You will also have the opportunity to learn many of the new innovations added to the SharePoint development platform including sandboxed solutions, feature upgrade, Business Connectivity Services (BCS) and the new support for Windows Identity Foundation and claims-based security.
