WCF / Azure / Oslo

These sessions cover the entire spectrum of using and building services, from SOA and workflow-oriented infrastructure for your applications to designing services for, and using services in, the Cloud. We'll cover both SOAP and REST services, and support of REST in WCF.

You'll also learn about Microsoft's Cloud offering, including the Azure Services Platform and Windows Azure, how to use .NET Services, Windows Live Services, and Mesh-enabled Web applications. We'll also look at “Dublin,” a new server infrastructure for deployment/hosting WF workflows and WCF services.

Windows Presentation Foundation

How do you make sense of the many technologies and tools available now for building Rich Client line-of-business applications? This set of sessions covers the next-generation user interface environments and the tools to create them, including WPF, Silverlight and the XAML technology underlying them both.

We'll look at new features in Silverlight 2.0, and offer more information on WPF. You'll learn about core concepts and programming techniques and we'll explore design philosophies for building business applications with more attractive, intuitive and complex user interfaces.
