Light up the Web with .NET

Client software has always striven to create an ever richer user experience. In recent years we have seen many factors come together to create exciting experiences: ubiquitous access to advanced hardware, the proliferation of rich media content, the ease of incorporating advanced graphics and media, and a dramatic increase in network bandwidth. In this talk, we will explore how the .NET team is making it easy for developers to bring these experiences to end users with technology like ASP.NET AJAX, Silverlight, Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), Expression, and Visual Studio. Along the way we’ll write some code and look at some new technologies and explore Microsoft Silverlight in more detail.
